Tourist and Business Visa Requirements
 
 
Travel notes:
 
Us passport must be signed, valid for at least 6 months and with at least 2-3 blank visa pages not amendment pages in passport. If your passport does not meet the requirements, we can assist with obtaining new passport, passport renewal or add additional pages for a valid US passport.
Application forms may be duplicated on plain paper but must be clear copies with original signature.

Entry requirements:
 
Valid Passport is required to travel to Australia with either a ETA visa or a Visa stamp issued.
US and eligible nationalities may apply with JIDS for a ETA. (Electronic Travel Authority)
NON ELIGIBLE nationalities must apply with JIDS for processing direct with Embassy of Australia.

You are only eligible to apply for an ETA while you are outside of Australia. To apply through this site, you must also hold one of the listed ETA-eligible passports.

Holders of UK British National (Overseas) (GBN) passports are not eligible to apply for ETAs through this site
REQUIREMENTS for ELIGIBLE citizens to apply with JIDS for ETA:
 
COPY of PASSPORT Vital statistics Information
FULL NAME
Credit Card information with CVV CODE
Must indicate Business or Tourism
Date of Birth
photocopy of passport shows issue and expiration date

JIDS Passport & Visa ORDER FORM completed and signed
Consulate fee will be applied on credit card used on JIDS order Form. JIDS fee will be on your receipt from us. You may request rush services on our order form.

 
Tourist and Business Visa requirements:
 
Valid, signed US passport.
One Tourist (Form 48R) OR Business (Form 456) Visa Application Form completed and signed.
US citizens must provide proof of US RESIDENCY, either a valid visa for US in your passport, or a clear PHOTOCOPY of your GREEN CARD
Please note that you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader version 3 or higher to view the form.
One passport type photograph.
Copy of flight itinerary AND Proof of financial support while in Australia.
Visa Order Form.
If travel is for business please include a business letter of responsibility, click for Sample business letter, along with Application Form 456.
For business letter please note the following:
 
  • This letter must be on your company letterhead.
  • This letter must be sign by someone other than the applicant.

    Health Requirements:
     
    Vaccinations are NOT required unless travel is from or through an infected area.

    Fees for eligible nationals are $20.00 for short stay ETA. minimum processing 24hrs. based upon approval. Processing time may vary*

    * Processing time for non eligible passport holders may vary between 10-14 days minimum and is based upon approval of the Embassy of Australia in Washington , DC.

    Federal Express starting at $25.95 for priority Weekday Delivery. Other Special Deliveries of Federal Express VARY (Ex. SATURDAY DELIVERY OR 8AM DELIVERY, call for rates). RESIDENTS deliveries is additional $3.00 to have signature required. Verify SIGNATURE OR NO SIGNATURE must be selected.
